“Poupée” + “Puppe” Combo Tour

“Poupée” + “Puppe” Combo Tour schedule
The “Poupée Tour” will start in Paris on May 5 and give you the opportunity to enjoy the Ville Lumière as a local Parisian. You will be staying in the heart of the Latin Quarter, in a nice and conveniently located hotel, only steps away from the best shopping area in the city, close to major cultural venues, with a wide choice of cafés and brasseries nearby. Savor the excitement of discovering Paris as a local, by combining shopping opportunities with reputable antique doll dealers, both in the center city and at the flea-markets, with visits of private collections in very typical Parisian apartments. Access to legendary museums and stroll the streets of the capital to shop what an antique doll collector needs: antique fabric, old papers, accessories, favors…
A visit to Versailles castle is scheduled as well, before a full week-end in Chartres where you will be able to attend an antique doll auction, visit a doll shop and antiquing around.
To close in apotheosis this first part of the journey, you will attend the “Chérubins Doll Show”, that appeals a rich variety of quality dealers from all over the world.
The “Puppe Tour” starts in Paris on May 11 and ends in Basel on May 21, 2023.
Off we will then leave by private bus to Mulhouse, where we will unveil a charming French private collection, mostly focused on Fashion Poupées and their environment. Our host will offer our group a special private buying opportunity.
The Wurzburg castle will be an historical stop on our way to Coburg, where we will attend the well-known Puppenfestival. While in Thuringia, we will visit several doll and toy related museums, attend a street fair that is especially devoted to antique toys in Neustadt bei Coburg. We will also shop a variety of antique toy shops and attend the traditional Doll Show at the Frankenhalle.
After the Puppenfestival, we will discover the legendary toy museum in Nurnberg, enjoy the picturesque city of Heidelberg and finally head to Basel, where we will visit the gigantic Spielzeug Welten Museum and the very unique Kirshgarten Museum, where amazing antique dolls, soft animals and all sorts of toys are on permanent display.
A very traditional Italian gala dinner will end our Tour.
